Vlad Sokhin is a Russian-Portuguese documentary photographer, videographer, and multimedia producer covering a wide variety of social, cultural, environmental, health, and human rights issues for various international organizations. His work has been exhibited and published internationally, including at Visa pour l’Imageand Head On photo festivals and in the International Herald Tribune, Newsweek Japan, BBC World Service, The Guardian, National Geographic Traveler, Geo, ABC, NPR, The Atlantic, Stern, Le Monde, and Paris Match, among many others. Sokhin has produced short multimedia films for UNICEF, UNAIDS, UN Women, OHCHR, and other international organizations. He has lived and worked in Russia, Portugal, Spain, Mozambique, Thailand and Australia. He speaks English, Russian, Portuguese, Spanish and Tok Pisin (Papua New Guinea).
