Jan Wünsch – As a kid I loved looking through the viewfinder of my parent’s camera. A machine capable of capturing a single moment that lasted forever fascinated me as a child. I got my first camera (a cheap plastic 35mm camera with black and white film) for Christmas in 1996. I finished the roll and, in excitement, opened the camera’s door destroying the film. I never saw the first pictures I ever made. I would imagine exploring the world, imagining what the jungles, deserts, and cities around the world looked like and who might be living there. I am very lucky that as a photographer, I travel the world with a camera and am able to fulfill my childhood dreams. I hope I will be able to do so for many years to come.
