Freya Morales, born in Copenhagen in 1972, graduated with a degree in journalism from the Universidad de Navarra in 1996. She worked for Agencia EFE in 1999, as a journalist for DanChurchAid in 2000, and as press officer at the Spanish Embassy in Copenhagen from 2002 to 2011. In 2011, Freya decided to pursue her passion for photography and moved to NYC to study at the International Center of Photography. She has been a freelance photographer for several news agencies like Bloomberg News, Anadolu Agency, and DPA. Currently, Freya works as a Photo Coordinator for the United Nations Development Programme in New York and most recently traveled to Colombia to document the peace process and other projects for the SDG Fund.
