Denis Rouvre, born in 1967, is a French photographer who lives and works in Paris. Since 1992, Rouvre has been photographing portraits of celebrities, as well as everyday people going about their routine lives. These works have been exhibited and published internationally. He created the photographs for the 2017 Lavazza Calendar and has received numerous prominent awards, such as the World Press Photo, three times. He has published several books, including Sortie de match (Editions de la Martinière), Lamb, Low Tide – Le Japon du chaos, and Identities, Intimate territories, all published by Somogy Editions d’Art. His works are included in a number of public and private collections such as Pinacothèque de Paris, Société Générale, and the Tjibaou Cultural Centre. (Photo shot in Kesennuma, Japan, 2012.)
