Anahit Hayrapetyan is an Armenian photographer, born in Karabakh in 1981. In 2005, Hayrapetyan participated in a photojournalism course organized by World Press Photo and the Caucasus Institute. She later studied at the Danish Media School of Journalism. Her photos have been published by The New York Times, The Guardian, BBC, Novaya Gazeta, and Le Point, among others. She is a co-founder of 4Plus in Armenia, a nonprofit women’s photography collective that empowers women through photography. FotoEvidence published her book Princess to Slave in 2015.
