Guillaume Herbaut, born in 1970, is based in Paris, France and was a founding member of l’Oeil Public. His work called Tchernobylsty won the Kodak Critics Prize in 2001, was published in 2003, and won the Fuji Book Prize the following year. He received a grant from the French Ministry of Culture and 3P. He won the Lucien Hervé Prize in 2004, the Niepce Prize in 2011, and World Press Photo awards in 2009 and 2012. Herbaut’s work has been exhibited at Visa pour l’Image (2004), Jeu de Paume Museum in Paris, “la Maison Rouge,” PHotoEspaña (2007), and the Silverstein Gallery (2008) in NY.
